Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at Dog’s Inc or thought about volunteering and wanted to know more?
Then circle Saturday, Oct. 10, on your calendar, and get ready to have an experience like no other.
Dogs Inc will host its annual Discovery Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day, and you’re invited to come see the magic firsthand. The event is packed with memorable moments and amazing demonstrations — all for a $10 ticket. Every dollar directly supports the nonprofit’s mission.
Throughout the day, you and other guests can step inside Puppy Academy to watch the youngest pups learn and explore; head over to the Canine Fitness Center to see its four legged athletes swim and gain strength; see live, guide dog, service dog, scent detection dog and puppy raising demonstrations; learn exactly how volunteer puppy raising works; take part in the multisensory experience, Beyond the Dark; and become immersed in Heartbeats of Hope, a moving audio presentation.
You can also browse the on campus gift shop, filled with Dogs Inc merchandise, including T shirts, pet gifts and more.
Food trucks will be on campus for lunch, with meals available for purchase.
Discovery Day gives visitors a glimpse into Dogs Inc — the incredible journeys of these world-class canines and the love, dedication and training that prepare them for their extraordinary destinies.

Register at www.dogsinc.org/. Scroll down and click on Discovery Day, where you’ll then choose your arrival time — 10 or 11 a.m. If you have a ticket, you can arrive later. The fun keeps going until 2 p.m.
Rain or shine, Discovery Day goes on. The event primarily involves walking, but shuttles are available for those who need them.
Guide dogs and service dogs are welcome on campus but may not enter buildings that house Dogs Inc puppies or dogs-in-training. For health and safety reasons, other dogs are not permitted.
