Winifred Audrey Peterson, our beloved mother, went to be with the Lord August 2, 2015, under the care of Hospice. She was preceded in death by husband Irwin G. Peterson and daughter Candy Taylor.
She is survived by daughters Keta Boucher and Cheryl Olson, and son Conrad Peterson; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was born July 2, 1917, in Spokane, Wash. In later years, she became one of the famous “Riveter” girls of World War II, helping our soldiers in battle by assuming stateside jobs.
She will be sorely missed.
Per her request, no memorial service will be held.
