Mary Quinn
Mary T. Quinn of Sun City Center, Fla., and former longtime resident of Washingtonville, N.Y. died July 9, 2015, at Sun Terrace Nursing Home in Sun City Center. Mary was 83.
The daughter of the late Patrick and Sarah Brennan, she was born in New York City in 1932.
Mary was retired from her career as a Registered Nurse at Cornwall Hospital, Cornwall, N.Y. She was a former member of St. Anastasia Roman Catholic Church and the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 1, Monroe, N.Y.
Family statement: “Mary was a devoted wife, cherished mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was the pillar of our family; she will be missed not only by her family but by all who were blessed by having known her.”
Mary is survived by her adoring husband, Patrick M. Quinn; their children Susan Quinn, and Cathy and Patrick Ward; grandchildren Brenna, Joseph and Dominick; son-in-law Robert Porter and his wife Erin; and siblings Patricia (Patsy) Brennan and Sarah (Sally) Mongan.
Mary was predeceased by daughter Laura, her parents, and brothers Patrick and James Brennan.
Mary was buried at St. Anastasia Church in Harriman, N.Y., on July 18.
At 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, there will be a Memorial Mass for Mary at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. A luncheon in the Conesa Center will follow.
