Louis De Atley

Louis B. De Atley, 79, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away September 27, 2015. He <a href="/assets/images/uploads/wp/2015/09/flag-in-color2.gif"><img class="alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-11221" src="/assets/images/uploads/wp/2015/09/flag-in-color2-150x150.gif" alt="flag-in-color" width="150" height="150" /></a>served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by brother Harry Motley.

Survivors include wife Gail;  daughters Karen (Robert) Nikla, Christine (Larry) Twele and Rhonda (Thomas) Iovino; son Mark (Tracy) De Atley; and 10 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive in Sun City Center.

Interment with military honors will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Md.

<h3>Theodore ‘Ted’ Verzino</h3>
Theodore “Ted” Verzino passed away September 28, 2015, of heart complications.  Ted was born on March 17, 1934, to Erino and Jennie Verzino in Allentown, Pa.

<a href="/assets/images/uploads/wp/2015/09/flag-in-color1.gif"><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-11219" src="/assets/images/uploads/wp/2015/09/flag-in-color1-150x150.gif" alt="flag-in-color" width="150" height="150" /></a>Ted retired from the U.S. Air Force after 21 years of service, and also from the Allentown school district.

He received the Bronze Star and other commendations during his years of military service.  He was a member of Sawdust Engineers, Horseshoe Club, New York Club, Italian Club, the Elks, and was active in the United Community Church.

Ted is survived by his wife Melba and children Marcia Sable and Michael Gerber.  He was predeceased by his parents, son Blaine and wife Ellie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sawdust Engineers or Hospice.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 4, at United Community Church, 1501 LaJolla Ave., Sun City Center.
