James Forciea

James Forciea died peacefully in Sun City Center, Fla., on October 12, 2015, at the age of 91.
James is survived by Genevieve, his beloved wife of 67 years; daughter Dr. Mary Ann Forciea Douglas of Philadelphia; son Patrick of Minneapolis; and grandchildren Hope and Annie Douglas and Grace and Jack Forciea.
James was born on December 30, 1923, in Stillwater, Minn. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II before returning to Minnesota to graduate from the University of Minnesota and begin a 40-year career as a metallurgical engineer with U.S. Steel in Duluth, Virginia and Coleraine, Minn., and Pittsburgh, Pa. He was an active member in the Knights of Columbus for over 40 years.
A funeral mass was held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City Center on October 15, 2015.
