Mathieu, 82, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away on October 27, 2015, at Brandon Regional Hospital with his loving family at his side.
Born in Springvale, Maine, on October 1, 1933, Ronald was a U.S. Navy veteran of Korean Conflict, and was Catholic by faith. Donald is survived by his wife of 55 years, Josephine Mathieu; daughters Lorette (Richard) York and Michelle (Kris) Williams; sons Charles (Kimberly) Mathieu, Joseph (Donna) Mathieu and Robert Mathieu; sisters Theresa (Roger) Emard, Gertrude (Paul) Allaire and Lorraine Tourney;19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service was held Nov. 2, 2015, at the Sun City Center Funeral Home.
