Justina Souchak Horvath, 95, of Apollo Beach, Fla., formerly of Hazleton, Pa., died Thursday, December 10, 2015.
Born in Lakewood, Pa., to the late John and Anna (Lastowsky) Souchak, Justina was the beloved wife of the late Joseph G. Horvath; loving mother of Joseph Horvath and the late John M. Horvath; cherished grandmother of Cynthia, Joseph Jr. and Julia; great-grandmother of several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Justina was employed with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and then by the City of Tampa. She was past president of the South Shore chapter of the American Businesswomen’s Association; 1972 Woman of the Year, Keystone chapter; and 1976 Woman of the Year, South Shore chapter.
In lieu of flowers, the Horvath family requests memorial contributions be made to Mission of Nombre de Dios, 27 Ocean Ave., San Marco Ave. entrance, Saint Augustine, FL 32084.
Services were held Monday, December 14, and were entrusted to the National Cremation & Burial Society, 308 E. College Avenue, Ruskin.
