Richard A. Sayers, 90, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away peacefully at Palm Garden on February 16, 2016.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Hazel, and twin brother William.

Richard is survived by Mary K., his wife of 69 years; daughter Kathy Postle (John); and sons Richard ‘Rick’ A. II (Barb) and Randall. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Richard was born in South Bend, Ind., on July 5, 1925, and moved to Sun City Center in 1994. After many years in sales, he worked as a counselor at Madison Center in South Bend. He was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed many years of golf.

Richard served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and was stationed in Hawaii.

He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

A private celebration of life will be held at Sun City Center for his family and friends.
