Joan E. Chaille

Joan E. Chaille, age 93, of Sun City Center, Fla., died April 1, 2016. She was born on March 22, 1923, in Lebanon, Ind. She had two brothers, Briant Edwards Jr. and Albert Edwards, and one sister, Mary Edwards, all of whom preceded her in death.
Joan graduated from Lebanon High School in 1941 and from Career Institute, a business school in Chicago. She also attended Northwestern University.
She was married to First Sgt. Jack Chaille in 1945, and they enjoyed 71 years together. They were the parents of four children, two of whom are still living: Andrew Chaille of Indianapolis and Rebecca Renner of Sun City Center.
Joan was the busy housewife raising the children while Jack ran a sales business selling various types of transportation vehicles.
She had two grandchildren, John Hoover Chaille and Amelia Elizabeth Chaille, both of Indianapolis.
Jack and Joan retired to Sun City Center in 1988, where they were members of Caloosa Golf and Country Club. Joan was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
There will be a grave side service for Joan at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon, Ind., at a date yet to be announced.
