Raymond F. (Ray) Grasser, 88 years old, went to be with our Lord on April 1, 2016. He is survived by his wife Millie, enjoying 64 years of marriage together; daughter Paula J. (Ed) Barrett; son Vincent (Laura) Grasser; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Raymond F. Grasser, and his brother, Ralph Grasser.
Ray joined the Navy in 1945 and was honorably discharged in 1948. In 1952, while attending an engineering school in Washington, D.C., Ray was interviewed by a rep from the National Security Agency and ultimately was hired. He retired from the agency in 1990.
Ray and his wife relocated to Sun City Center, Fla., in 1996. He became a Life Master Bridge Player, loved to dance and play the trombone at home.
He was fun-loving and always had a joke to tell. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2016, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 702 Valley Forge Blvd., Sun City Center. Interment will be held at a later date at Quantico National Cemetery.

William Raymond Schneider, 90, of Sun City Center, Fla., passed away April 8, 2016. He was born on October 25, 1925, in Hamilton, Ohio, where he graduated from Hamilton High School. He attended Ohio State, where he played basketball for the Buckeyes as a pre-med student.
He volunteered for the paratroopers in World War 2 and fought in the Philippines with the 11th Airborne Division, earning a bronze star. He also fought in Korea at the Chosin Reservoir as an artillery Officer.
Retiring from the Army in 1965, he started his business, operating a Dunkin’ Donuts franchise (two stores), then real estate, before finally retiring.
He loved life and throughout his years he became an avid golfer, and he always demonstrated a keen sense of humor.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Polly Suzanne Schneider (maiden name Warwick); sons Stephen Lee Schneider and Martin Todd Schneider; daughter-in-law Bonnie Laing Schneider; grandsons Daniel Joseph and Matthew Michael Schneider; granddaughter-in-law Karen Sharp Schneider; and infant great-granddaughter Samantha Rose Schneider.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to be determined, with burial at the Sarasota National Cemetery.
