Evelyn Leckenbusch Licht, 94, of Sun City Center, Fla. formerly of Long Island, N.Y. died peacefully on May 31, 2016. Evelyn was a warm, loving, caring and generous person with a kind and happy soul. She will be forever in our hearts. She is survived by her husband Gerald Licht; her children Linda Leckenbusch, John Leckenbusch and Irene (Brian) Kelly; her grandchildren Janis Leckenbusch, John (Michelle) Leckenbusch Jr., and Robert (Amanda) Leckenbusch; her great-grandchildren Taylor, Taryn, Ashlee, John III, Camden, Brynlee and baby Oscar. She is also survived by Jerry’s sons Jerry Licht Jr., Gary (Charlene) Licht, Eric Licht and Jerry’s grandchildren Jacqueline, Matthew and Ryan.
A Lutheran Service and brief visitation was held at Sun City Funeral Home on Friday June 3, 2016. The family thanks all who attended and all for their prayers and words of comfort.
