Bernard Armand

Bernard “Frenchy” Armand, 91, of Sun City Center, Fla., died on October 15, 2016, in Marietta, Ga. Born in Paris, France, Frenchy came to this country as a Holocaust refugee at age 13, having lost many family members in concentration camps. He lived in Brooklyn, N.Y. for 25 years; in Cartersville, Ga., for 30 years and Florida, for 22 years.

Frenchy is survived by his son Jack, his wife Linda and their three children Michael, Philip and Tanya; his son Richárd, his wife Jane and their son Zev; and his son Tony, his wife Lynda and their sons Anthony Jr. and Dominic; his many great-grandchildren; and his fiancée Bernice Nowak. He is predeceased by his wife Angie and son David.

Family was most important to Frenchy; his motto was “enjoy life.” He enjoyed golfing, dancing, telling jokes, singing, eating and cruising the world.

In lieu of flowers, Frenchy would like memorial donations to Habitat for Humanity.
