Bruce Davis

Bruce Hal Davis, 59, passed away to go to heaven on Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, in his sleep. He leaves his mother, Jean Kostka, Sun City Center, Fla.; sisters, Vicky Woodrum Rohrer (Bill), Raleigh, N.C., Wanda Davis Sutton (Rahn), Raleigh, N.C., and brother, Michael Wayne Davis (Julie) of Radford, Va. He also is survived by his aunt, Betty Steuart (Jimmy) and uncle Carroll Amiss (Carrol Lee) all of Lynchburg, Va., as well as several other nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts. He also leaves his special friends, Ron Engberg (Barbara) of Navrarre, Fla., who worked with him for many years in the military and continued to be a true friend after the service, as well as the many friends in his Jeep Clubs.
Hal lived in Fort Walton Beach for many years during his time in the Air Force as a Helicopter Mechanic as well as serving as Telecommunications Operator specialist for over five years. A memorial service was held Oct. 22 in Navarre, Fla., at the VFW Post.
Hal was always willing to help anyone on the road or wherever they needed help.
