Roland Webb

January 4, 1922 – November 12, 2016

Roland Webb, born January 4, 1922 in Lincoln Kan., passed away on November 12, 2016. He  is survived by his wife Lynn, his son Mark Webb, daughters Pat Baranski, Kim Strong, Lisa Zwilling and three grandchildren.

Roland attended the Chicago Conservatory of Music and The Naval Aviation Cadet Training Program and was a Boy Scout leader. He was a successful independent State Farm agent in Chicago. He devoted many years of service as a trustee, deacon and board member with South Church Community Baptist in Mt. Prospect, Ill. When he retired, he was a First Responder and worked with the Rescue Squad and Fire Department in Peel, Ark. He was an accomplished musician and vocalist, and he directed the church choir in Chicago and Yellville, Ark.

Roland was a "bigger than life" role model of integrity and generosity. His family and friends will miss him, his sense of humor, his caring heart and his love of life.

Roland Webb's memorial service is December 7, 10 a.m. at Freedom Plaza Auditorium, 4th floor, 1010 American Eagle Blvd., Sun City Center, FL 33573.
