Moyer L. Harris Jr.

Moyer L. Harris, Jr. of Sun City Center, Florida passed away on November 30, 2016. He is survived by his wife Nancy Wilson Harris and son Moyer L. Harris III. He was predeceased by his son William Alan Harris.
He was born on Jan. 29, 1939, in Asheboro, N.C. to the late Mildred A. Burton and Moyer L. Harris. Moyer graduated from Asheboro High School in N.C. and then from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. with a B.S. in Music Education. He retired as audio and video specialist from the Mt. Carmel Health System of Columbus, Ohio in 2005.
A Memorial Service will be held at the United Methodist Church of Sun City Center on January 20, 2017 at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be sent either to the church at 1210 W. Del Webb Blvd. SCC, FL 33573 Attn: Music Ministries, or to the all-volunteer Sun City Center Emergency Squad at 720 Ray Watson Dr. SCC, FL 33573. Private graveside rites will be held at a later date.
