Gloria F. Hoesch Walker Wells, age 91, died Saturday, January 14, 2017.
She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Sunday, September 13, 1925, and moved to Sun City Center, Fla., June 16, 1986.
She retired January 1, 1984, as Senior Court Accountant and Senior Audit/Distribution Accountant from the Mellon Bank N.A. Trust Department, Court Accounting Department with almost 26 years of service.
Gloria was a Director in the Federation of Kings Point and Highgate IV Condo Association for many years and a member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gary J. Walker; grandson, Bradley Wells Walker; her sister, Helen R. Gaus, her brother John G. Hoesch and her nephew, Curtis Wells.
Survivors are her son James R. Walker (wife Susan) of Fairfax, Va.; her sister, Marie M. Mathews of Pittsburgh, Pa.; grandson, Craig William Walker (wife Jessica) of Charlotte, N.C., and great-grandson Bowen Hoesch Walker and great-granddaughter Corabelle Rose Walker; granddaughter, Kimberly Kyle Wagner of Denver, Colo., and great-granddaughters Magdalen and Elizabeth Wagner; granddaughter Cynthia Marie Donovan Palmer of Pittsburgh, Pa., and great-grandsons Nicholas Joseph and Donovan Jason Palmer; two nieces Beverly Greenwell and Sandy Moser Jacobs; and three nephews Mark M. Moser, Jack Hoesch and Kenny Hoesch;
Funeral services will be at a later date. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills, Pa.
