Betty A. Sauer

Betty Andersen Sauer passed away peacefully at the Hospice House in Sun City Center, Florida on February 11, 2017, after a brief illness. She was born October 7, 1924, in New York City to parents Elizabeth and Hans Andersen. Betty was married in 1943 to childhood sweetheart, George Sauer, for 44 years.
She worked at RH Macy for 12 years and Abbott Labs as Secretary to the Branch Manager for 19 years. Betty moved to Miami, Florida in 1969 and worked as Benefits Manager in the Human Resources Department of Avatar Company for 20 years. She retired and moved to Sun City Center with her best friend, Marcia Fallon, in 1995. They took 19 cruises, travelled to many European countries and enjoyed several bus trips all over the United States.
Betty is survived by her close friend, Marcia Fallon, and by many nieces, nephews and their children. Memorials may be made to: Life Path Hospice, 3727 Upper Creek Dr., Ruskin, FL 33573.
