Irene Peterzak
In the early morning of March 30th, Irene Peterzak, 89, was greeted in heaven by two of her children, Kathleen and Michael, as well as her brother Ed. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of almost 66 years, Eugene, her daughter Doreen, son Bryan, daughter-in-law Darlene, and three grandchildren Erin, Jacob, Tessa and fiancé Richmond.
If you knew Irene you knew she loved to cook and bake. Some of her specialties included traditional Polish pierogies and conga squares. She was also a lifelong believer in exercising to stay fit, enjoying everything from working out with Jack LaLanne, to swimming and tai chi.
Irene always loved to travel, and especially loved taking cruises to exciting places. She traveled the world with Eugene and was always looking forward to her next big trip.
The grandkids will never forget donuts with Grandma for breakfast, as well as their trips to Disney together. Time spent together with family was always special for Irene, and everyone adored her.
If anyone lived a full and beautiful life it was Irene. We will never forget how she touched so many lives, and she will continue to live in our hearts forever.
