Loretta Theresa Robbins, 87, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and previously from Sun City Center, Florida and Troy, Michigan, passed away early Thursday morning, April 13, 2017, at Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in Waverly, Iowa.

<h2>Aaron J. Varn, Sr.</h2>
Aaron Joseph Varn, Sr., 94, of Ruskin, Florida, born in Durant on November 30, 1922, entered into eternal rest on April 11, 2017. He was a veteran of the United States Merchant Marines having served in World War II, and was a retired engineer with Seaboard Coastline Railroad. He was a member of Destiny Church in Ruskin.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years, Cecile. He is survived by his children, Aaron Varn, Jr. (Christie) of Ruskin, and Susan Hagy of Sun City Center; grandchildren, Aaron Joseph Varn III (Tammy), Matthew Varn (Sandra), Tiffany Hagy, and Justin Varn (Brooke Adele); great-grandchildren, Ethan, Alex, Meagan, and Hailey; and brother Fredrick Varn (Celita) of Virginia.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 22 at 11 a.m., at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 C.R. 39 S., Plant City, where the family will begin receiving friends at 10 a.m. Committal to follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Plant City. A service dedicated to the Christian lives of Aaron and Cecile will be held on Sunday, April 23, at 10:30 a.m. at Destiny Church, 2322 11th Ave. SE, Ruskin.
