Linda Ann Goelz, age 64, of Sun City Center, Fla. passed away on May 16, 2017.
Linda attended Nova University, and graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice. After graduation she pursued a career in law enforcement. She was a Deputy Sheriff for Broward County for 26 years. She took great pride in serving the community as a sheriff officer and eventually worked her way up to a rank of Commander.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents George and Eva Perkins, and is survived by her loving husband, Robert Goelz of 18 years; one brother; and by numerous children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family has requested that all donations be made to the American Lung Association or Brother Wolf Rescue. Groover Funeral Home is entrusted with the cremation arrangements.
