Jack Bradshaw Hambrick

Jack Bradshaw Hambrick, 71, passed from this life at his home in Sun City Center on March 9, 2018.
Jack was born Dec. 16, 1946, in Crockett, Texas to Jack W. and Josephine Bradshaw Hambrick.
He served in both the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Army, with two tours in Vietnam with the Marines, and the Army in Korea.
Jack had a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the University of Ark., Fayetteville, was an adjunct professor at ASU-Beebe, Ark. and taught at Bald Knob High School, where he was named Teacher of the Year. He and Pat moved to Sun City Center in 2012.
His parents and his brother Phil predeceased him. He is survived by his wife of 27 years Pat; daughter Kimberly, Springfield, Mo.; son Joshua (Cara), Sebring, Fla.; stepchildren Melanie, Michael and Lisa Lowery (Paul Jarvis), Little Rock, Ark.; and John Lowery (Jennifer Stewart-Stuart), Gastonia, N.C.; two grandchildren, Cameron and Rayne Hambrick; fur babies Buddy and Cammie, and an extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2018, at Red Hawk Ranch, 4110 County Road 579 S., Wimauma, FL 33598.
