Betty Lombardi

Betty Lombardi, 89, of Ruskin, Florida went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus on March 11, 2018. Betty was born in Manchester, England on December 30, 1928. She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Ann Lombardi Csiki, her fiancé Randall Scott Curtis, a granddaughter Heather Marie Lombardi and great-grandsons Cameron Zachery Millette, Zander Lewis Waltz, Roman Scott Waltz and Giovanni Nathaniel Waltz.
Betty resided in Norwalk, Connecticut for 52 years prior to moving to Ruskin, Florida at the passing of her husband John J. Lombardi in 2013. Betty worked as a Travel Agent for over 20 years and enjoyed numerous cruises and vacations throughout her life. She was also an Avon Representative for over 50 years and was still selling Avon up until her passing. She volunteered at the Norwalk Senior Center for many years and enjoyed delivering hot meals weekly with Meals On Wheels while living in Norwalk, Conn.
She was a volunteer at the Ruskin Senior Center where she greeted the attendees with a smile and a hug. She had numerous friends there and enjoyed the trips she was able to go on with the Senior Center. She will be Greatly Missed by her family, friends and acquaintances. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at the Sun City Center Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Betty will be laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell alongside her husband John J. Lombardi.
