William K. Markland
William K. Markland, 81, of Sun City Center, Fla. passed away April 14, 2018. He retired after 31 years of service as an Administrative Officer with the Federal Government and after 20 years of service as a Property Manager with Carydale Enterprises, Inc. He enjoyed dancing and was a country western dance instructor in the Kings Point Community for 12 years.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>

He was preceded in death by his two brothers, Leonard and Larry Markland and by his three sisters, Charlotte Krucz, Mary Lou Markland and Ruby Markland. Survivors include his wife Donna Lee Nash; two daughters, Judy Crowley and Jan (Jerry) Hoffman; a stepdaughter<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>Dawn (Daniel) Vaccaro; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Blaine (Mavis) Markland and Jerry (Phyllis) Markland and three sisters, June Wolf, Betty (Jerry) Sams and Patricia Lynch.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>

Memorial Service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2018, at the Sun City Christian Center, 17566 U.S. 301 S., Wimauma, Fla. Arrangements by Sun City Center Funeral Home. 813-634-9900.

He was born on October 15, 1977 in Tampa, Florida to parents Gary and Priscilla Parrish.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>

Joel is survived by his mother Priscilla (Tom) Lehman; father Gary (Betty Hatfield) Parrish; brother Gary Michael Parrish; daughter Haylee (Parrish) Giddens; son Ashton Laine Parrish; soul mate Stephanie Giddens; many uncles, aunts and cousins from Florida and Michigan along with numerous friends. He was preceded by his grandparents Wilson and Ruth Parrish and Robert and Bonnie Baldwin.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>

Joel’s joy in life was his children and spending time fishing on the river. He was a compassionate and loving son and father. Joel will remain forever in our hearts as we cherish the memories of Joel’s joy and caring spirit. Our hearts are heavy with the loss of this young life, but find comfort in knowing Bucky is at peace and resting in the arms of our loving merciful God.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
