Maxine Mae Jones, age 89, passed away April 26, 2018.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She is survived by her loving partner, Norman Mortus, her daughter Carla (Jones) Sanders; grandsons, Todd (Dawn) of London, Ky.; Jason of Lanesville, Ind.; Christopher of Indianapolis, Ind.; and two great-grandchildren, Nathan and Matthew.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Maxine was preceded in death by her husband Carl Jones and her son-in-law Boyd Sanders.
She worked for Dr. William Yeager of Jeffersonville, Ind. for 20 years.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>She loved country line dancing and Jazzercise. She enjoyed traveling over the years with Toby Tours.
Maxine was a loving adopted Grandmother to Cameron and Connor Mortus as well.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>Maxine will remain forever in our hearts as we cherish the memories of her full of life, love and spirit.
Memorial Service was held at 1 p.m. on April 30, 2018, with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Wellspring Community Church at 705 9th St. S.E., Ruskin, FL 33570.
