Steven A. Carre
November 15, 1946 – July 3, 2018
Steven A. Carre, 67, of Sun City Center, passed away on July 3, 2018. Steven was born in Dayton, Ohio, but lived in Florida since 1973. He enjoyed spending most of his time with his wife Becky and their many trips to Tennessee. He was a devoted Ohio State fan. He enjoyed restoring Mustangs, playing softball, fishing, target shooting and riding his ATV with his grandsons.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
Steven is survived by his loving family, wife of 49 years Becky; daughter Kimberly (Dave) Cox; brothers Charles (Gail) Carre and Gary Carre, and grandchildren Jacob and Justin Cox and many nieces and nephews.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
There will be a memorial gathering on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Sun City Center Atrium in the Florida Room, 945-D N. Course Lane, Sun City Center, FL 33573. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the American Heart Association at www.Donatenow.heart.org
<h2>Gordon (Gordy) Ray Cummings</h2>
Gordon passed away peacefully at home after a short, but vigorous struggle with pancreatic cancer on July 5, 2018.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
Gordon was born November 15, 1946, in Schenectady N.Y. to Martha and Harold Cummings. He attended Waukesha High School where he loved football, wrestling and swimming then furthered his education at Waukesha Tech and Milton College in Wis. In High school he met and married Donna Jenkins Redmer, the mother of his children. He and Donna were divorced in 1980, but remained friends and wonderful parents.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>He spent his working years in Waukesha working for RTE (now Cooper Industries).
In December 2008 he met the love of his life, Pam. They were married within a year at a beautiful ceremony in Cozumel, Mexico. He retired and they spent many happy years traveling around the world plus splitting their time between their homes in Wisconsin and Sun City Center, Fla.
Gordon was a kind and gentle man who had a great love of history and golf. Through his passion for golf he made many friends at Renaissance Golf Club, where you could find him most every day. In the evenings he enjoyed cuddling up with Pam and their cats (Callie and Grace) while watching TV.
Gordon is survived by his wife Pam Whitnall Cummings; mother Martha Felter Cummings; children Brian Cummings and Laura (Chuck) Duncan and grandchildren Skyler Clarin and Lucas Duncan; brothers Stephen (Sue) and David (Kathy), and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 28, at St. Andrew’s Church, 1239 Del Webb Blvd. W. Sun City Center, Fla. with dinner to follow.
A second celebration of life will be held in Wisconsin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6, at Jerusalem Presbyterian Church, 207 W. Main St., Wales, Wis. with lunch to follow.
Placement of ashes will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018, at Forest Home Cemetery 2405 W. Forest Home Ave., Milwaukee, Wis.
