Lester C. Brantner Jr., 96, of Sun City Center formerly of Glen Burnie, Maryland, passed away on September 15, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Washington D.C. to Lester C. Brantner Sr. and Emma Furtney Brantner. As a child he lived in Washington D.C. and Georgia. He retired from the Federal Government in 1974 and moved to Sun City Center in 1980.
Lester Brantner was one of the original active members of the Sun City Center Model Railroad.
Lester served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the Philippines.
Lester was predeceased by his wife Kathleen Edmondson Brantner in 2002. He was a beloved father of Vickie Brantner Bruni of Sun City Center, Ronald Brantner of Sun City Center, Frank Brantner of Sun City Center, son-in-law Lawrence Bruni and daughters-in-law, Kathy and Lorraine.
