Sergio Aldo Levi, <i>The Italian Cobbler</i> of Apollo Beach, passed from this world October 15, 2018, at the age of 83. He is survived by his devoted wife Joyce S. Levi, and four children, Rick (Renee), Jaye (Bob), Sue (Bill), and Mark (Luann). He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Jennifer (Antonia), Hannah (Sean), Kenneth (Ally), Alexander (Kelly) and Madeline, as well as three great-grandchildren, William, Autumn and Emersyn.

Sergio was born in Milan, Italy to Aldo and Piera Levi. As a young child of Jewish heritage, Sergio was personally affected when his family was identified and targeted in the move to purify Europe. He barely and miraculously survived the Holocaust. Sergio never let this define him and lived his life looking forward.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>He possessed a kind and loving spirit, and embodied an old-world philosophy of displaying a respectful attitude toward others. He was humble and never complained about his circumstances.

Sergio was truly a man of the world. He loved to travel, was fluent in five languages and lived in numerous countries before settling permanently in the United States. He enjoyed teaching and nurturing others, whether it was in sports or the craft of shoe repair and orthotic manufacturing. He had a passion for playing, coaching and watching tennis and soccer.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>He and his wife shared a love of music and dancing.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>

Sergio will be missed by his family, who loved him dearly, his friends and the community he served.
