Edna Mildred Soto

Edna Mildred Soto passed away Dec. 9, 2018,<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>at A Place to Grow in Brandon, Fla.
She was born in Puerto Rico on Nov. 20, 1952. When she was 1 year old, she and her parents moved to Philadelphia and upon Maria’s graduation from high school, she, her sister and parents moved back to Puerto Rico.
Edna worked for an insurance company as a bookkeeper for several years until she and her best friend Arlinda moved to Fort Lauderdale. There, Edna worked for Mass Mutual Life Insurance for 28 years. She became ill with dementia and lived with her mother and sister.
In October 2013, Edna, her mother, sister Maria and brother Wilfredo moved to Tampa. Edna is survived by her mother Beatriz Soto and brother Wilfredo Soto. Edna never married.
