Thom P. Brown
Thom Porter Brown passed away after a lengthy illness. Thom was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y. and was a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Hobart College. He was the beloved husband of Dodie Brown; cherished father of Cynthia Kulkarni and Betsy Brown; loving grandfather of Sydney and Sarah Kulkarni; and dear brother of Jim Brown (Delores) of Pennsylvania.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>
Thom graduated from OCS in Newport, R.I. as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy and was stationed at the Pentagon and later the National Security Agency in Washington, D.C. Thom served many organizations in Sun City Center as a volunteer in several capacities and was loved and respected by all who knew him.
To honor Thom’s request, a private family memorial service will be held at a later date in Chicago.
In lieu of flowers, donations in remembrance of Thom may be sent to C.A.R.E., 1528 27th St. S.E., Ruskin, FL 33570.
