Marcia Lue Gue

Marcia Lue Gue, age 79, of Howell, MI, formerly of Swartz Creek, MI, and Sun City Center, FL, passed away on March 30, 2019. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, April 26, 2019, at Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, 7400 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI. In lieu of flowers, those desiring to make a contribution may do so to the American Heart Association.
Marcia was born September 18, 1939, in Paragould, AR, the daughter of Rev. Neil and Anna Geraldine (Smith) May. She was a 1957 graduate of Oak Grove High School in Paragould. Marcia married Donald R. Gue on June 27, 1959, in Flint, MI. She retired from The Kroger Co. in 1995 after 38 years of service. She was a member of El Said Ladies Shrine in Flint and was past Worthy Matron of the Swartz Creek O.E.S. She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie (Richard) Bartlett of Howell; Melinda (Wolfgang) Mueller of Los Angeles; grandchildren, Dennis Ryan Brandon; Brooke Kathleen (Brandon) Clayton; Kerra Elise Mueller; great-grandchildren, Randy Lee Clayton; Daegen Leigh Clayton; Mariah Jolie Rulka; sister, Shirley A. Hamrick; brother, Kennie A. (Regenia) May; brother-in-law, Rev. Robert (Barbara) Gue. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother, Bennie L. May.
