Janice Bartku
October 18, 1952 –
Janice “Jan” Bartku, age 82, of Sun City Center, Florida, passed peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2019, surrounded by her loving husband of 44 years, David, and her daughters Sandra Logan of Seymour, CT; Sharon MacDonald of Cotuit, MA; and Karen Twiss of Brandon, FL. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Marchetto of Pittsfield, MA, and granddaughters: Demi Sperazza, Ellie Sperazza, Kelly MacDonald, Kara MacDonald and grandsons: Gunnar D’Addario, Hunter D’Addario and Aaron Logan. She is predeceased by her parents, Norman and Grace Anderson, of Austerlitz, NY, and her sister, Norma Seddon, of Pittsfield, MA.
Jan grew up in Austerlitz, NY; graduated from Chatham High School in Chatham, NY, in 1954; and lived in Fairfield, CT, for many years where she was a real estate broker. She and her husband David were part owners of Stillson Pharmacy until they moved to Sun City Center in 1994 and enjoyed many years of retirement together. She enjoyed volunteering at the Sun City Center Visitor Center and playing golf and loved spending time with her children and grand- children.
Jan’s outgoing personality and entrepreneurial mind were some of her greatest assets, and her presence will be missed by all who loved her.

<img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-26494" src="/assets/images/uploads/wp/2019/09/Collins-120x200.jpg" alt="" width="120" height="200" />John (Jack) Collins, 66, born October 18, 1952, beloved husband of Georgana Collins, formerly of Waynesburg Pa., lost his battle to cancer on September 7, 2019, and went on to his Heavenly Father. They had been married since December 14, 1970, and have two grown children: Chad, wife Shannon; three grandchildren, Shaun, Ethan and Cooper from Washington, Pa.; and daughter Lori Ford and granddaughter Madison of Ruskin, Florida.
In 1988, Jack graduated from the Washington Institute of Technology with a specialized degree in Electronics and Computer Technology Prior to moving to Florida in 1993, Jack worked as an underground coal mining electrician for Beth Energy Industries. In 2009 he retired as an electrician. He was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed riding his Harley. He was Baptist by faith.
He will be sadly missed by his wife and family. I will love you, Jack, forever and a day. Private services to be held at a later date.
