Janet Cain Hamilton, age 97, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2019. She is predeceased by her first husband, Robert Cain, and her second husband, Reese Hamilton.
She is survived by her beloved son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Polly Cain; her cherished grandchildren, Shayna Thompson and Tyler Cain; her treasured great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Trinity, Kayla, Josie, Jack, and Suri Thompson; and her great-grand dog and cat, Howard and Sir Sedric.
She was born in Lakewood, Ohio, but lived all over the country, settling in Milford, Michigan, with her first husband. After his passing, she moved to Florida, where she married her second husband.
She was always very active and independent, becoming one of the first secretaries at NASA, before becoming a mother in 1953. Even later in life she was always very involved with the community, working at the store and the library at Sun Towers and volunteering with the church. She loved music and dancing and will be missed by many.
