Norma Kringel Tooley
Norma Kringel Tooley (81) went to meet the Lord on March 19, 2020. She was a child of God, a caring and loving Christian woman who never met a stranger. She had a sparkling personality and loved to be around people while helping others.
She is survived by her husband, Chuck Tooley; four children: Beth Garvy, Scott Garvy (Lisa), Sarah Boston (Bret), and Maureen Shiflet (Donnie); nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Norma enjoyed playing tennis and pickleball and traveling to different countries.
Born in Iowa City, Iowa, to Erna and Edwin Kringel, she was devoted to her two sisters, Sue Perry (Russ) and Mary Hernandez (Claro). She lived in Arizona, California, Georgia and Florida before retiring with her husband of 23 years in Sun City Center, Florida. She was an active member of the North River Church of Christ and will be missed by everyone who knew her.
