Barbara M. Edwards

<br />Barbara M. (Todd) Edwards, 84, of Sun City Center, Fl., went to heaven on Monday, January 03, 2011. Born in Claremont, NH, she graduated from Northampton Commercial College in 1946 and upon graduation, became secretary to the legal advisor of United Aircraft in Hartford, Ct. In later years, she became a R.E. broker in Chelmsford, MA. She married and lived in W. Chelmsford, MA, until moving to Sun City Center in 2003. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Glenna F and Harry M. Todd; her former husband, Walter W. Edwards, Jr. and a son, Peter F. Edwards; brother, Richard M. Todd. She is survived by a son, John W. (Sue) Edwards and a daughter Kim E. (Paul) Scherig, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, living in Florida and Minnesota. She also is survived by a twin sister, Helen L. Smith of Northwood, NH, a sister-in-law Judy Todd of Epson, NH and brother Robert E. (Ann) Todd of Kaneohe, HI. She has been active an member of the Methodist Church in the states where she resided.<br />A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Sun City Center United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Betty Beach-Connell, officiating. Interment later in the family plot in Claremont, NH, In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Capital Campaign Program of SCCUMC in Sun City Center.
