On Tuesday, December 29th, 2020, Barbara Sue Edgemon, loving mother and nana passed away at the age of 74. Barbara lived in Sun City Center & Little Canada, N. C. Barbara was born April 5th, 1946, in Chicamauga, Tenn. “Nana” loved to cook, garden, read, dance, attend auctions and play card games with her friends and family. She loved to laugh and nothing pleased her more than to see someone enjoy her cooking. She was a lifelong learner and believed that anything was possible if you just put your mind to it. She was a successful entrepreneur and real estate developer and investor. She loved the Smoky Mountains and loved even more when her friends and family visited her at her cabin. Barbara was strong and independent and left an amazing legacy for all to follow with her kind and compassionate spirit.
Barbara is survived by her two sons: Gene & Chris and their wives, Jennifer and Deloris; her grandchildren: Matthew Kent, Ariel Johnson, Makenzie Kent, Makayla Kent, Jacy Kent & JillyAnne Kent.
