Jeannette E. Doebrich

<br />Jeannette E. Doebrich, 90, passed away on Monday January 10, 2011 in Sun City Center, FL. Daughter of Leroy and Elizabeth Foley, she was born on July 29, 1920 in St. Louis, Missouri. She and her husband, George E. Doebrich, met when both worked at York Corporation in Philadelphia, PA and married at the “The Little Church Around the Corner” in New York City on May 29, 1946. Jeannette and George were married for 54 years. <br />Jeannette raised three sons while the family’s journey took them to Brooklyn, New Jersey, Florida, and Saudi Arabia. She returned back to Florida for retirement and was a resident of Sun City Center and member of Redeemer Lutheran Church for the past 25 years. Jeannette‘s passions were cooking, sewing, and enjoying the fellowship of others. <br />She is survived by two sons, Glenn and wife Kim of Port St. Lucie, FL, Jeff and wife Catherine of Oak Hill, VA, and four grandchildren, Jason, Toby, Adrienne, and Brigid. She was preceded in death by her eldest son Lee and her beloved husband George.<br />A memorial service will be held at 9:00 AM, Monday, January 31 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Sun City Center. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.<br />As Jeannette was a devout Lutheran through and through, memorials may be dedicated to Redeemer Lutheran Church, 701 Valley Forge Blvd., Sun City Center, FL 33573.<br />Arrangements are under the National Cremation and Burial Society, Ruskin, FL.
