Dorothy M. Trimmer
January 9, 1932 – April 7, 2021
Dorothy Marie Trimmer, 89, of Apollo Beach, Fla., passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 7, 2021. Dorothy was born January 9, 1932, and was a native of Steubenville, Ohio.
She was predeceased by her husband, William B. Trimmer (October 15, 2010), her sisters and brother. She had been a resident of Apollo Beach for the past 52 years. She and Bill had worked part time for Hallmark Cards after Bill retired. She retired from Hallmark after 10 years in order to care for him when he became ill. Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Craig (Steve Weldon) Trimmer, of Clearwater, Fla., and Denny (Kathy) Trimmer of Wimauma, Fla.; her four grandchildren: Stacy (Andrew) Stevens of Riverview, Fla., Diana (Donald) Fields, Eric (Christie) Trimmer and Erica Wilson, all of Apollo Beach, Fla. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren: Jordan, Michael and Danika Stevens; Alexis and Tyler Fields; Olivia Trimmer; Matthew Wilson and Lauryn Duch, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Per Dorothy’s request there will be no services. There will be a private memorial service for family only at a later date.
