Julia Forman

</span><br />Julia Forman passed away on March 25, 2011 in Sun City, Florida at the age of 103 years and 10 months. She was born on May 24, 1907 in St. Marys, Iowa, one of five children of Chris and Mary Limke. After working for Woolworth’s and Kreske’s and as a housekeeper for the founder of Blue Bonnet ice cream, Julia married Charley Forman and had 7 children of whom 5 survived to adulthood. Married for 60 years, Julia lived throughout the Midwest and as far away as Brazil, before moving to Belton, Texas for 30 years. After the death of her husband in 1993, Julia moved to Buena Vista, Colorado, Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Apollo Beach, Florida.</p>
<p>Julia was very involved in both Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts and especially enjoyed creating plays and skits with them. A very creative person, her hobbies included sewing for both dolls and people, painting, and various craft projects such as her beautiful, hand-carved egg- shell ornaments.</p>
<p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Forman, daughters Janet Forman, and Shirley Hall, infant son, and sons Richard and David Forman.</p>
<p>Julia is survived by her son, Charles (Jane), Apollo Beach, Fl.; daughter, Ruth Pelino (Nick), Buena Vista, Co.; Claudia (widow of son David), Costa Mesa, Ca.; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 10 great, great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>A funeral mass was held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Ruskin, Florida on March 30, 2011. Interment was in Primghar, Iowa on April 1, 2011.</p>
