</span><br />Richard P. Benditt, 87, the loving husband of Anna Ruth Benditt for 62 years, of Sun City Center, FL and formerly of Darby PA passed away on April 4, 2011. He was one of the ten children of Fred and Marie Benditt. He was a devoted and loving father of Mike (Laura), Frank, Bill, and Kathy(Jeff). He is also survived by his sister Laura Heil, brothers George and Robert, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the sad grandfather of the one deceased grandson Richie.</p>
<p>A World War II Veteran, he enlisted in the service the same day three of his brothers were called. The brothers went through boot camp together in the same company. At the war’s end, five brothers and one brother-in-law all returned home from combat.</p>
