<p><span style="font-size: medium;"></span><br />Willie Jean Avery, 77, of Plant City, Florida, beloved husband, father, and grandfather departed this life on April 17, 2011. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of Springhead Baptist Church, and owned Avery's Hardware and Plumbing Supply in Ruskin for 28 years. He is survived by wife of 53 years Deloris Avery; children Phyllis Ann Miller (Eddie) of Oakland, Florida, Diane Avery of Plant City, and James Allen Avery, of Keystone Heights; 5 grandchildren Eddie Miller, Jr., Christopher Miller, Cori Avery, Codi Avery, and Andrew Avery; and 3 great-grandchildren Peyton, Ava and Mason Miller. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 21 at 11:00 A.M. at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 SR 39 S, Plant City, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M.
