Margaret P. Smith

</span><br />Margaret P. Smith, long time resident of Sun City Center, died March 10, 2011 of complications from Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. She is survived by her sister Mary Day, 4 of her 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Margaret was born in Thief River Falls, MN on August 1, 1922. She attended St. Theresa’s College in Winona, MN where she met and married Earl Dale Smith. Margaret’s family enjoyed the benefits of her extraordinary culinary skills and seamstress skills. </p>
<p>Margaret loved to read and was a lifelong learner. She enjoyed spending time with friends, her book club, and her bridge club. Margaret was a devote Catholic and during her retirement years she was able to devote more and more of her time volunteering at the Prince of Peace church. Her funeral mass will be April 30, 2011 at 11 am at Prince of Peace Church in Sun City Center. Arrangements are by Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, Fla 33573.</p>
