</span><br />Alan A. La Torre, 81, of Sun City Center, Fla passed away June 12, 2011. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Korean Conflict and retired as a commercial postal account representative for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center Men’s Club, Poker Club and St. Louis Club and a volunteer for the Sun City Center Emergency Squad. Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Sandra La Torre; two sons, Michael (Denise) La Torre and Mark (Denise) La Torre; a daughter, Lisa Kulage; a step-daughter, Pam Taylor; a step-son, Ken Mosher; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>The family received friends Tuesday, June 14, at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, FL. Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated June 14 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 702 Valley Forge Boulevard, Sun City Center, FL. Interment with Military Honors followed at Sarasota National Cemetery, Sarasota, FL.</p>
<p>In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sun City Center Emergency Squad, 720 Ray Watson Drive, Sun City Center, FL, or LifePath Hospice, 3723 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, FL 33573. Arrangements by Sun City Center Funeral Home, Sun City Center, FL.</p>
