Gary "Butch" Starrett of Sun City Center, FL, passed away at home on Jan. 1, 2025. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, and raised in Gahanna, Ohio. He worked at Western Electric for 38 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Lenamae Starrett, and his nephew, Kyle Knox. Gary is survived by his wife, Maryanne; son, Colby (Heidi) Starrett; grandchildren, Lyndsey and Clay; his sister, Becky (Gary) Knox; niece, Kelli, and her son, Charley.
No services will be held. Cremation service was handled by Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, FL 33573, with final resting at Mifflin Cemetery, Gahanna, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital, Columbus, Ohio, or Lifepath Hospice, Sun City Center, FL.
