</span><br />Louis Monti died on July 13, 2011. The New York City native was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retiree from the NYC Department of Highways. In 1992 he retired to Sun City Florida with his late wife Tessie. Louis was active in many community groups, the NY Club, the Italian Club, the Polish Club to name a few. Louis is survived by sons Anthony of Ronkonkoma, N.Y., Robert of Palm Harbor, Fla., Louis of Ronkonkoma, N.Y.; James of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and seven grandchildren.</p>
<p>A funeral mass will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 702 Valley Forge Blvd, Sun City Center, Fla. at 11 a.m. on August 22, 2011.</p>
