Geraldine June Bois (Geri), on July 10, 2026, lost her battle with pneumonia. She died peacefully with her granddaughter from Montana (Jeni) holding her hand.
Geri was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. Geri and Mark Erickson, her partner of 43 years, moved to Sun City Center, Florida 13 years ago to be near her son and daughter-in-law, Tom & Lori Bois. Her daughter, Kathy Yeager, and her partner, Dan Reasor, followed Geri to Sun City Center three years later.
Geri was the current secretary of the SCC Archery Club and a member of the SCC Aquasizers Club and SCC Security Patrol. Geri and Mark loved to cruise. They have completed 70 cruises together over the years.
Geri was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and her husband, William Bois; her two sons Billy Bois and Tom Bois; and her daughter-in-law, Tom’s wife, Lori Bois.
There will be a “Celebration of Life” held for Geri on September 21, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Armstrong Room on the North Campus.
