Ralph Lawrence Frenzilli

Ralph Lawrence Frenzilli was born on September 1, 1937 in Portland, Maine. He raised his family in Connecticut and retired to Florida, but to his loved ones, he will always epitomize what it means to come from Maine. He lived simply and practically, he carried on in the face of hardship, he fixed things himself, and he couldn’t pronounce words ending in R.
Ralph’s greatest joy was his family, and he worked hard to build a life for them. He started a residential construction company, Frenzilli Construction and Design, in 1967. His legacy includes the many homes he designed and built, as well as a strong work ethic instilled in each of his four children.
Ralph thoroughly enjoyed what he did, and he continued working into his seventies as a Project Manager for WCI Communities in Florida. Building was a way for Ralph to express his creativity, and he was a very creative person.
His inspiration in life and art was his late wife of over 42 years, Nancy Frenzilli. Nancy and Ralph loved to travel, and together, they explored Europe, South America, and the Caribbean.
Ralph was a Master Carver and woodworking instructor. His pieces won him major awards at state competitions and were thoughtfully gifted to children and grandchildren to mark some of life’s big moments.
Ralph lived with enthusiasm, and he never complained. He was an avid golfer, enjoying weekly golf matches.
He leaves behind a wide circle of friends with whom he spent many happy hours celebrating life. Ralph is survived by three children, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and his loving companion, Harriet. He joins his wife, Nancy, his daughter, Jennifer, his grandson, CJ, and his parents in eternal life.
