Therese “Tee” Bomba, 83 passed away Friday, August 21, 2026 in Fernandina Beach after a long illness. Tee was an administrative assistant in the county court system in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Born on June 13, 1943, in Queens, New York, to the late Albert Ironside and Marie Jancovic, Tee grew up in upstate New York along with her five sisters. She was preceded in death by three of her sisters, Ellen Spencer, Alberta Constable & Marie Movall. She is survived by her sisters, Louise Kowalski & Margaret Silvernail. She wed the late Irvin Bomba on April 18, 1964, and they were married for 52 years. She is survived by her children, Nora Ruede (Tom), Irvin Bomba (Cathy) and Timothy Bomba (Kerry). Tee also leaves behind nine grandchildren, Steven (Kasie), Daniel, Kevin, Jane, Tommy (Rachel), Molly, Jack, Grady and Liam, as well as a great-grandchild, Jones.
On any given day, you would find Tee on the golf course. She loved the game! She also enjoyed cooking for family & friends. Tee & Irv also spent a lot of time volunteering for their church, St Frances X Cabrini in Parrish, FL, during their retirement.
Funeral services and interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, who took very good care of Tee during the last few years. The family also wishes to thank everyone at Lakeside of Amelia for their help and support through this difficult time.
