Carl E. Flodeen Jr.
</span><br />Carl E. Flodeen Jr., 92, entered his heavenly home on Nov. 22. He was the loving husband of Joan for 69 years, father of Linda (Daniel) and Pamela Harris, grandfather of Christopher Richards (Cherie) all of Brandon, FL and Britta Gibbon (Robert) of Apopka, FL, greatgrandfather of 2 and one surviving sister Betty Anderson of Molline, IL. He was proceeded in death by his parents, sister Dorothy Brasmer and 1 great granddaughter.</p>
<p>He was born in Moline, IL, son of Carl Sr. and Lois Reig. He graduated from Rock Island High School and was drafted very early in World War II serving nearly 5 years. He retired from the Rock Island Arsenal in 1980 as Chief in the tool engineering branch. In his retirement he loved playing golf and loved making people laugh. He will be missed.</p>
<p>He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Sun City Center. Memorial plans are being made at a later date.</p>
