Robert M. Ekker

</span><br />Robert M. Ekker, 89, passed away 1/25/12 at his home in Inverness, Florida.&nbsp; Bob was born in Flint, Michigan and raised in Gardenville, Florida.&nbsp; Bob served in WWII at Ledo, India where he worked on the railroad.&nbsp; He was the owner of Ekk-Will Tropical Fish Farm in Gibsonton, Florida.&nbsp; Bob was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Rita, and survived by his son, Chuck (Joann) Elijay, Georgia, daughter, Donna Allmond, Sun City Center, Florida, and son, Ray, Floral City, Florida, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.&nbsp; Bob enjoyed fishing in the local lakes and continues to hold the 1984 world&rsquo;s record for a 12 lb 9 oz bass caught on a fly rod in Lake Tsala Apopka.&nbsp; At his request no services will be held.&nbsp; Donations may be made to HPH Hospice, 12107 Majestic Boulevard, Hudson, FL 34667.</p>
