<p>Carlton D. Goebel, 93, passed away on Oct. 2, 2012. Born on Aug. 18, 1919 in Buffalo, NY, Carlton was a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He later worked as an electrical engineer for the General Railway Signal Company.</p>
<p>Carlton is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie E. Goebel. He is survived by his loving family, children, David (Jeanette) Goebel, Sharon (James) Smith, Roger (Kathleen) Goebel, Christine (Robert) Hobson and Cindy McClellan; grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Scott Smith, Jeff (Katja) Goebel and Brian McClellan; and great granddaughter, McKenna Smith.
